I've had to replace mine.

Have you made sure that the coolant isn't slightly low? If it has some air in the system it will do this.

In my truck, the front anchor pucks are different from the rears and the safety chain loops won't work in the front pucks.

Good info there, thanks for the post. I just can't imagine that the LED's would be bad, my truck has only 24K miles on it. I'll pop the mirror out and check if it's getting power and ground to the lights.

It won't overflow, even without that cap.
