Hey, saw your post on stereo upgrades. I have a 96 with Infinity, and installed an aftermarket head unit a while ago. It works but sounds pretty crappy. I figured that's just because my speakers are 14 years old, but I probably didn't connect the blue wire either. Could that be my issue? Definitely not a quality problem with the head unit - it's a nice one.

Also, do you know of a source for speaker advice? Crutchfield only lists a couple of replacement speakers, and they're cheapies. I assume the large magnets of a better speaker interfere with something in our doors. Any workarounds for that?
