    if it's hotter and more humid out than normal, i've noticed increased levels of smoke too

    I installed me Raptor to the frame with my supplied bracket, and left the stock pump in place. I connected the fuel line at the tank without dropping the tank or raising the bed, everything worked out good. So, in theory, you should be fine. :cool:
