So, 1996 and 2002 reg cab are the same mounting holes,no changes. what about the wires for the power seat. are they pre wired for this in the SLT?Thanks. I want install a good used seat with power and leather.

Did you ever find the source of the problem. I had this same problem and replaced the pressure sensor and it is fixed. also you have to reset min. throttle, clear codes, battery disconnect via relay. this was done using snap-on scanner. I know this is 2014. and this problem was posted 2006.

it is leaking where both parts meet, looks like a seal has gave up sealing.turbo spins free,very little play in it,still tight.

Hello to all, my turbo has been leaking oil for some time I guess. it looks like it is between the exhaust and intake of the turbo down at the bottom and runs down the bracket for the vacuum canister. is this something that a diy can fix?. Thanks for your help.

Hello to all, the kick down cable adjustment on the 96 Dodge Ram 2500 with Auto trans, will the adjustment happen if I press the pedal all the way to the floor?. some car makers have this type of adjustment. the Dodge service manual says to line up within 1 mm cable end. can someone who knows...

Thanks for the reply's. Has someone on this site did the axle swap?. I would like to hear from that person. I feel that it should bolt right up. Also I think I could swap out the spindals and outers from the 2002 onto the 1996 axle. what do you think. ?.

What about putting on a 2002 front axle on a 1996 truck?.

Today I got to work on it and got it done. after taking out battery and air tube,made it easy to get at. with the help of a block of 8x8 piling to stand on. getting off old rod was a little bit of work. using saws all cut the old one in half and pried the ends off. adjusted new one to length...
