Yes I have gauges I may be going without trailer on the way down and pulling it on the way up now.

I have a NV5600 so the transmission should be just fine I would hope. Towing about 2000 pounds no big deal.

Getting ready to go on a long trip for vac. Will be towing 2 Jetskis. What SW setting is giving you guys the best mpg on the smarty? Also does anyone know when the new Smarty software for towing will be out?

Bob, I cannot find the towing software you are talking about. Is there another site I don't know about? I downloaded the moderate tq man program and on SW 5 the smoke is not as bad. It will slip my clutch a little though.

Thanks for the reply. The smarty is very impressive. The only problem I have with it is the excessive smoke. It is bad even on SW 1. I tried it on my buddys 06 with a factory exhaust and is alot better. Does the cat have something to do with it?

If you do a search of here you will find instructions on how to do it. It is very easy. Takes me about 15min on a rack. The only thing you gain is about a 1/2 mpg.

When I bought my truck it had a Autometer egt and boost gauge set in it. The boost gauge has always been about 7-8 psi off. Not a big deal I rarely ever look at it. But know my EGT gauge is sticking most of the time I have to tap on it to get it to read correctly. Is there anything I can do...

I like to see under 100ml in 1 min idling on injector return on a normal running truck. Mine is about 80ml. Did you check to make sure the drivers switch was hooked up. If the switch has ever been unhooked It may not have been hooked up properly.

Thats what I thought. The DRB and the factory electronics is correct. The DRB will show boost before the gauge will. Is there anyway to calibrate the gauge.

What is the stock max boost on a 04. 5 600? My gauge say about 25psi before the wastegate brings it down to about 20psi. With the DRB it says about 45 psi if you subtract bar you get about 30psi. What is right?
