    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Head gasket replacement.....

My HG started leaking oil in the front after my turbo and injector upgrades. I just bought new headbolts from Cummins and torqued them to 130 ft lbs. The trick is to torque in small increments, and wait in between torques. After 110, i went up 5lb each time, but waited 30 mins to an hour between...

If it's a stock auto, it will grenade if you beat on it too much. If it's manual, just be careful in 5th

It may be possible with VP in place, but I would just remove it. The whole job can be done in 3-4 hours easy.

The o-rings should be easy to find at a parts store. You need to figure out where exactly it's coming from. 2 bolts take the pump off, and you could check it out. It could be where the pump seals to the housing, the fuel filter housing cap o-ring, or one of those quick connect fittings, they...

Thinking about installing a gen 2 in my gen 1

How much power are you wanting? You can get decent HP for cheap out of that pump. Fuel pin, turn fuel screw in, advance timing, bigger injectors, and a modified H1C would be cheap and fun to drive. I'm not sure on the wiring, but both of these engines only need power to the shutoff solenoid to...

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Going from Dana 70 to Dana 80

I did this on my QCSB. I had another driveshaft made, because nobody locally could modify my factory aluminum 1 piece driveshaft. It's a little smaller diameter, but it's steel instead of aluminum. The ebrake cable doesn't. On the brake line, I just removed the proportioning valve, then the...
