    Diagnosing white smoke

This is from Oregon Fuel Injection, they have other diagnostic info to look at but I had this problem once before. The KSB unit on the injection pump uses a temperature sensor in the intake manifold to advance the pump timing when the engine is cold, which reduces blue/white smoke. 89 to...

    Injection pump timing

You can change the timing on a 12v without removing the cover. Can’t play with the timing on 24v pump and gear are keyed only way is with a tuner.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake problems

Ozy I was never able to find a way to check my dump valve but I did spend a little time yesterday made this brake line up to bypass my abs block. However it did not fix my problem.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Retroshop Headlights

Ya I did haven’t had any issues. Drivers side ran one 14 gauge wire from ground next to wiper fluid reservoir, connected both grounds to that underneath. On the passenger side I used the ground right behind the battery and ran it underneath an connected both to it.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Retroshop Headlights

I’ve put these lights on two trucks, the connection that plugs into stock lights is junk, the pins wobble around and both times hi and low beam were backwards. I cut the plugs off both sides and soldered wires. The location of my ballast required me to lengthen all the wires coming out the back...

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Brake problems

What year is this truck? Is the truck 2 or 4 wheel anti lock? I’m currently experiencing this exact problem on a 96 I picked up a year ago, all I did was change the front pads now my pedal just goes to the floor. I also changed my master which didn’t help at all. The only thing I can think of...

More questions than answers part 1 million

When I started to disassemble the clue I noticed that got me looking in that direction was a large burr on the top side of the xover tube. I had a picture but can’t find it.

More questions than answers part 1 million

I had a similar problem as you with my 99, I don’t know if this will apply to your situation or not as I am not sure what work has been done to the truck but I’ll share it with you anyway. At 240,000 miles I noticed a small leak from my head gasket. I put a new cylinder head, head studs...

    Cummins main bearing set

Does Cummins manufacture a main bearing set that has a one piece thrust bearing? I see some info saying the 6.7’s came with them. I am after a Cummins part number for a main bearing set, standard clearance, with a one piece thrust bearing. Vehicle is a 04.5

    2001 vp44 crank no start

Check your passenger side ground cable, one of them y’s and has two plug ins. One connects to a cable in the same loom as alternator wiring. Lot of important grounds definitely would keep it from starting.

    '05 Budget Engine Rebuild

I feel like I need to say this only cause I’ve had so many problems with ARP studs and I don’t want you to go through the same hell I have on multiple occasions. First off I have only ever bought and used the 425’s the more expensive 625’s might not have this issue can’t say one way or another...
