    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) transmission Service

    I am now close to 30K miles and believe that I'm due for a transmission service (bands, fluid, etc. ). I got a coupon in the mail from the dealer advertising this service for around $90. Sounds very reasonable to me but what do I know. Anything to look out for? Thanks for your help.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Part # 5015723AC, Is this the good one?

    Had my 1st LP failure. LP was replaced under warranty with PN-5015723AC. Is this a new & better LP? Have they debugged the new LP's? Sorry that I'm such a rookie. Thanks.

    2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Grease fittings: How Many & Where?

    I want to grease my truck myself. Would somebody(s) tell me where all the fittings are? Are there any tricks I should know? I've done oil & filter changes along with fuel filter changes and figure I could do this bit of maintenance as well. Thanks.

    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) New User - Dead Truck, What to do??

    I'm driving home last night doing about 55 mph. My truck starts sputtering then quits. I wait about 5-min and the thing starts back up & I make it home.
