Well, after 10 1/2 years of hard pulling, racing, and other activities, my old school Piers Diesel HX40 decided to go to Turbo Heaven yesterday. . It was a quick, but oily death when the shaft snapped. . Great turbo, and thanks for all the great smoke stories on here! -Chris-

You need to go by your GVWR and not whether if it has AC or not. . Look on your driver's side door, and see what your GVWR is. . I am guessing it's 8800 lbs. -Chris-

So I was driving home a week ago, and noticed the clutch was acting erratic. . As I grabbed a gear, I started to throttle into it, and then the RPM's shot up, and no power. . So I eased into the throttle, and was able to get a little power to the ground, enough to get into a parking lot... When...

Has anybody had problems with this? I recently noticed that sometimes, my window will tilt forward, and the motor gets bogged down. . I am not sure how the glass is attached, but would like to know if there is a way to fix it. . -Chris-

I have followed my brake lines all the way back and there is no elusive height sensing proportioning valve... I have looked and looked, and my drums still suck. -Chris-

Yes, and most everyone on here uses Southbend Clutches. . I have had several, and finally wound up with a Dual Disk 3600# plate load clutch, and it has way better manners than my single disk FE... I would highly recommend Southbend, not only for their clutches, but also their amazing customer...

I'm having trouble with the shop installing my clutch. It was originally in my 2004. 5 with the nv5600, and now it is going in my 1998. 4 12 valve with an nv5600. They are telling me that the transmission does not have room for the throwout bearing once mounted up. . I know I need the starter spacer...

So I am leaving the lake this morning, and went to throttle into it in 4th gear, got about 10-20 psi boost, and all of a sudden a big pop, and it loses all power. . all gears, no power... when I came to a stop, it was making crazy noises, pushed in the clutch, put it in first, rolled a few feet...

same with Peterbilt parts... they really stick it to you at that parts house. . -Chris-

they are the same size as the big Galaxy and Connex Radios. . I haven't installed a bracket, I just throw my Galaxy DX99V in the truck as needed...

Banks is junk anyway. . way overpriced, and not the best quality for what you pay for. For the price of the banks duals, you can get a Magnaflow T409 stainless (shiny from the turbo back) exhaust for less! -Chris-
