    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 6 spd downshift grinding- need help!

    At 31k, 1k after first dlr trans fluid change, started grinding gears when downshifting to 2nd. next 5k miles occured more often and into 3rd and once in a while into 4th All down shifts. up shifts just fine. local dealer says he have no tools to work on manuals and wont look. finally got to...
