    99 dodge ram the transfer pump runs for about 45 sec after the key is shut off. i thought maybe it was the ignition switch failing so while the pump was running with switch in off position i unplugged it. pump continued to run. chrysler manual claims the ecm is the only control for transfer...

    '97 5. 9 cummins won't exceed 2000 rpm no load. fuel pressure is good. strainer clean filters clean. lots of miles.
