I have an 06 with a 6-speed. I have about 5000 miles on mine now and I can here a noise when I let the clutch out, but I think that it is normal. You have to really listen for it when you let the clutch out. I believe I would take it in if I were you.
Ditto here also, just touch some metal before you move your butt and everything will be fine. I haven't had a prolem with my 06, but I could touch the head of a screw in the bottom of the hand on my 99 to solve the problem. Just don't move your finger away then back again...
Interesting to say the least. You would have to put this on a switch of sorts, like a toggle switch that you flip manually, wouldn't you? If it was grounded all the time then it would "high idle" all the time won't it? Or is the PCM set up to only "high idle" when cold?
