you'll likely drive through my town :) bit of a long haul, but idk what you'll save time wise w/o a trailer unless you want to drive fast? i think the biggest factor is fuel usage/savings vs. hotels/staying in trailer.
thanks guys, those washers are gone now to get at the studs, although i'm not understanding the correlation to the studs breaking? i'm gonna check out Dorman and order some extras just in case! :)
so here's my dilemma; i discovered 3 broken off studs (sans nuts) the other day. went to napa and bumper to bumper (the only auto parts stores within close proximity to me) and got new wheel studs, much to my dismay they are a good 1/2 longer than the stockers! both places list the same ones and...
i just installed the borgeson steering shaft on my 07, and i am getting a slight "stickyness" at slow speed on some corners, but it doesn't last all through the corner, just for a second or two. and not all the time. could this be from the steering box? it is still stock.

just thought i'd throw my . 02 cents in. i went from BFG KM2's to Toyo MT's last summer, cost a little more but they looked good! i had been warned by my bud that they wouldn't last, but decided to find out for myself. well he was right!! got about 24000km (15000mi) on them and they were TOAST...
that's good to hear, i just received my borgeson steering shaft the other day(courtesy of my wife for valentines day!) just need to put it in. was the shaft a hassle at all?
i work in the oil/gas patch and the operators i work with drive ford gas jobs and they burn through 2-3 times the fuel i do doing similar driving. plus the longevity of gas vs. diesel it's a no-brainer for a 3/4 or 1ton. IMO
i've been running the Lorenz 2. 25 for i guess a couple years now, i really noticed a difference in the ride especially over BIG bumps. doesn't bottom or get out of control anyway, i went with the blocks and haven't had any problems.
