After not having a lot of luck finding much info on aftermarket radios for our trucks I decided to just go for it.
My radio had been swapped for a later model unit with CarPlay but suffered from the delamination on the screen that others have had.
Replacement factory $1200, Replacement screen...
Finally got my CityDiesel actuator in (Much quicker than I expected). Instant gratification, Installed the new unit, started my truck and no more error light. Truck runs as good or better than new. They really got a perfect replacement piece.
IF your refering to mine its the stock unit. I'm on the wait list for a city diesel unit.
700 or 895 depending on if you want the whole assemble or just the electronics half.
As TJJeeper said, I got the special drill for NMO drilling. I didnt pull my whole head liner, just removed the trim from drivers side and slid a box in there to space it out from the metal. Drilled out the hole and had a small pan to catch the hot disc that fell out. Enough room to put my...
Confirmed my Acutator is shot, got lots of small burned components inside. 141K. CityDiesel is somewhere between 2 weeks and 6 weeks wait time. Thinking I'm going to have to put it back together before I get the replacement. Is there a certain location I should adjust the turbo to when...

Now a few hours later and the sunroof is not working and the rear view mirror/Backup camera is not...
Anyone added on to their factory alarm? Just added a transfer flow tool/tank combo and was hoping to tie the tool box lid into the same circuit as doors so if it was opened the alarm would go off. Ran some extra wires while wiring in the tank and wanted to add a contact switch and a light to...
Just finished replacing mine about 20min ago. Couple bolts to remove the Airbag assembly, Steering wheel puller to get the wheel off. Its sitting right behind the wheel. It was about a 30min job not counting looking for steering wheel puller that was hidden in the garage.
Just got the mirrors in a few days ago so pretty much brand new. Guess I should go check the obvious and make sure wiring is ok. My holes are big so no issues with clearance. Pretty sure wires are ok but makes as much sense as anything.
Anybody having problems with the heated part of the mirror blowing the fuse? The powered part of the mirrors is working great. I happened to push the heater button on the dash and it blew the fuse. Replace, repeated with same result.
