    New Steering Linkage

Thanks for the replies. It came apart. It was new on the bench as I was taking it apart. I had to be sure to hold the tiered end as straight as possible or the threads didn't like it and it would lock up. Once apart and the grease was applied it moved much easier. Hopefully this will...

    Wet Rear floor

I was going to suggest the 3rd brake light. I know mine leaked. It may appear dry but chances are tha's the culprit. Please let us know what you find.

    New Steering Linkage

Hi guys (and Gals;)) I know it's been a while since I checked in but I have a question for ya'll. I picked up a new steering linkage setup - part number 52122362AL from Geno's of course. I figured it would be a good idea to pre-grease the treaded sleeves. The set that attaches to the pitman...

    NO BUSS on a 2012

I waited a week just to be sure (or have a better idea) this may sound crazy but here it goes. The truck was at the dealer just over 4 weeks. THEY COULDN'T FIGURE IT OUT. However, I do have faith in these guys, this is just an unusual situation. I brought the truck home and looked it over...

    NO BUSS on a 2012

Still showing the P-0606 code. I've read quite a few articles from the 3rd gen with this issue, 4th gen seems few and far between. P-0606 I believe is PCM failed self test. I'l keep you posted. I'f anyone has dealt with this please chime in. My last RAM (dodge) truck was flawless...

    NO BUSS on a 2012

Can you believe Im still dealing with this issue! The dealer replaced the guage cluster twice and the TIPM module. I replaced the batteries which now I see was an unnecessary 400 dollar expense. UNBELIEVABLE

    67,500 service

I picked up the gasket kit to do the 67,500 service from Geno's. It came with a very informative instruction sheets. However, I find it hard to believe none of the bolts need to be tightened with a torque wrench. Even the schematic/parts diagram doesn't reflect the torque values. If someone...

    Preventing Corrosion from Salt

Not sure what area your in but up North there is a product called Krown. It's applied once a year and after application your body is guaranteed to be rust free. Of course, it needs to be applied once a year but for 100 bucks, it's great insurance.

    68RFE Downshift

When did the adaptive shifting start? Were there many changes through the years? 7.3, This might be a silly question but how's the fluid?

    68RFE Downshift

Sounds like the OPs concern is the lack of down shifting with little to no load regardless if the EB is on and regardless if TH is on. To the point where he needs to downshift manually at certain speeds. 7.3 - do you know what gear ratio you have? I'm assuming you have the stock tie size?

    68RFE Downshift

If your referring to the exhaust brake not working that low, I believe the cut off is around 1500 RPM. I don't think it is a "symptom" of anything. After the stop and you begin to accelerate does it stay in first gear? As long as it's not "lugging" in the wrong gear you're fine. Maybe I'm...

    Auxillary fuel filter supplier

That's a really nice set up you have there! My motives didn't stem from a lack of filtration (even though I in a 12) but from the high cost of the nanonet factory filters. At 75 dollars each this kit will pay for itself in 2 years. It does give a warm and fuzzy feeling when you open the...
