It was the driveline both times. The compound joint on the transfer case side. The one with the super small grease fitting. Both times the truck was in 4 hi. Both times there was a some snow on the ground...maybe 6-8" the first failure and no more than 4" the second time. Both times were at very...

There are. I've used counsel before to compel the makers of a certain upscale European SUV to buy back their product (3 transmissions in 17k miles). It took years and cost about what the car was worth. In the end I was fully reimbursed. I wouldn't go that route again. It's easier to just avoid...

Nope. Seattle, Washington. But only for the last few years. Southern California a lifetime before.

@Topzide I believe that's who I dealing with on the phone.. I just hopped in to grab some lunch... 'Service Rear Park Sensors ' Probably some wiring too..

Closing this out. To the individual who suggested the wiring: 10 points. Dealer found a the power wires to the control module had becomed damaged and corroded. The service technician's words: 'Almost looks the front driveline exploded at some point' This truck went through not 1, but 2 front...

Leaving the batteries disconnected for several days did nothing to reset the system-all the errors were still present Sunday AM when I reconnect them. Nothing regarding the tank/module seemed amiss-physically Anyway. I was still living in California, but traveling to Washington when the Nox...

@Topzide-Truck has ~3200 hours. It mostly sits now; primarily driven just once a week. I'll leave the battery disconnected for a few days and check a few of the other suggestions over the weekend. @Ozymandias the last time the truck was at the dealership was when the failed NoX sensor triggered...

@Ozymandias Too late for that. I've cleared the codes. Twice. I don't like having repair decisions forced. @Topzide The batteries (Interstate AGM), were replaced 6.17.21 Perhaps coincidence, the previous failure occurred after the truck was subject to an extended period of cold...(20 degrees...

Monday AM I got a CEL. Code present was U010E -Lost Communication with Reductant Control Module. Cleared codes and called the dealer and asked if I had recall 67A done, if that would cover diagnostic an replacement parts if applicable. Service advisor said no, the recall would have to be done...

    Truck Woes

Fair enough in regards to slippery surfaces. I would have hoped the dealership would have verified functionality of the system when the replaced the shaft. I

This was the drive line the second time... Truck was in 4Hi, and empty(no cargo in the bed)

    Truck Woes

@sag2. You are correct- I never posted the data because I never received the data. As a follow up-FCA replaced the shaft and the bumper gratis. All of the work done has been done by one dealership. That's what the drive looked like. My wife and kid were in the car-there is no hot-rodding, no...

    Truck Woes

10 months ago I posted about the front driveline on my truck exploding. A few months later the driveline did it again: in the driveway of my cabin with just a few inches of snow on the ground. The dealership took almost two months to replace the shaft- I was told they were out of stock (They did...

    Rant (feel free to ignore)

I completely agree with your initial statement. That's why I'm just dropping it. The value of my time off vastly outweighs the value of the money spent to fix it. And like I mentioned in another post I have the opportunity upgrade the rear bumper..... I spoke to someone at the company that did...

I have a few quick oil and fuel filter change questions..

The Valvoline product you have selected would be fine. FWIW I used Delo and Rotella both (which ever was available and less expensive) on my 5.9 12V and for the first 100k miles or so on my 5.9 24V
