aftermarket lift pump gph versus CP3 gph

Thanks for the link, but that product specifically says it is is "direct in-tank replacement", not a kit to convert to in-tank pump. There is no room for the GDP under the hood filter. My truck has the big black engine-mounted APPS...

aftermarket lift pump gph versus CP3 gph

My truck is an 04.5 and also still has the OEM fuel pump attached to the OEM filter canister under the hood. I want to add extra filtration, but have always been told that extra filters should be added after the fuel pump, and not be added before the fuel pump. I would prefer to convert to an...

Fuel Rail Pressure Gauge Wire Splice question

Use Posi-Lock connectors. Secure, removable, no solder or heat shrink needed. It's all I use now for wire connections. Also, I can tell you that soldering that joint is not a good idea. I have the Edge CTS2 and I added a pressure sensor to get fuel pressure. The wires were way too long, so...

If it isn't too far from you, look for a used 3rd Gen in the Southwest or West. No rust on local vehicles here in Southern AZ. I live here, and am second owner of our 04.5, local truck, already had a PacBrake on it. We've had it 5 years now, and only had to do relatively minor expected...

    Preferred A/C Temp

Never mind, I found the AC Recirculation setting on my 2004.5. Interior temps immediately dropped almost 20 degrees compared to the non-recirc setting! Now pumping out 40-42 degree air, driving in the city, in 100+ degree temps.

    Preferred A/C Temp

post by DavidC: "In Az. it's always in recirc. It's the only way to survive." I'm in AZ also, and agree about the recirc mode. On the AC system on these trucks, how do I make sure that it is in recirculate mode?

    Truck bed cover

I have had a Bak-Flip for 5 years now, very happy with it, no issues. You can fold it all the way up against the back window and lock it there for full bed access, or you can lock it with all but the last section folded back so you can still see out the back window. It has drain tubes for...
