You should have put a manual Oil Pressure gauge on it. My dads 98 12 valve kept "losing" pressure, or so it said on the gauge. He put the manual gauge on it and lo and behold he had about 45 at an Idle and about 60 at highway speeds. That might have saved you $700 dollars unless you were annoyed...

The Cable that runs from the injection pump to the Transmission I have heard is supposed to be adjusted right? I wasn't aware that these needed adjusting. Is there a way to adjust this and if there is how do I do it? Thanks:confused:

Well an update to the truck rebuild. The engine is in and running great! But I didn't expect any difference with a Cummins that has 100,000 miles on it. I did get a pin hole in a freeze plug but used one out of my old block and it does not seem to be leaking coolant anymore. There is a little...
