AFGuy, which type of mount put up with being towed around with the emergency brake on; the under the bumper style mount to frame or the in-the-bumper/grill version that mounts where the tow hooks are?
I'm just curious. Trying to decide on a type. And honestly, I doubt I'll ever have a winch on...
I had a MIL rear it's ugly head (Go on! I set it up for ya!) within the first week of ownership on my '16 3500. Yeah, freaked me out. I put it in tow/haul and ran the exhaust brake on auto, and kept it that way ever since. It cleared itself within a day or two... tip learned from this forum...
Nope, not just you - drives me crazy for the same reasons (2016 3500). Cruising through your neighborhood and a friendly neighbor thinks you're snubbing them for not giving him/her a tap of the horn after they've waved to you. When in reality, you're doing the equivalent of a drum solo on the...
Ahhh yes, the can-opener bridge! That footage has been ingrained in my head for awhile :--)
LOL.. I'm obviously aware of my height. So, I'm not so much worried about being "that guy" as I am having a dozen cars behind me while I try to figure out an exit/back-up/turn around plan. There's...

I declined to have my Nav turned on when I bought my '16 because I didn't think I needed it and was pretty happy with what we were already using just on our smart phones.
Enter from stage left a 38' toyhauler, but still confident with our smartphone-based gps for relatively local trips...
Anyone using the 9", 3 ball Tow and Stow?
Just wondering if it will hang too low on a stock height '16 3500 DRW and if I'd be better off with the 5" or 7". Anyone have one? What do you like / dislike?
Appreciate ALL the replies, guys.
I agree with a lot of what you've mentioned and this may simply be a case of me reading too far into it and being paranoid about the new purchase. Based on what others have posted about really severe "dead pedal" in some other threads and some of the PM's I've...
Not new to trucks. But, admittedly have A LOT of firsts going on here and coming from an '06 gasser XL reg cab superduty, I'm pretty damn excited about the list!
Over the last couple months of fighting with dealers over purchase price and trade in value (I'd call it negotiating, but that...
