    Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) NV5600 Mopar Fluid

    I was in a local diesel shop a couple of weeks ago, and they told me to add the trans oil to full then pull the top cover and add 1 more quart. Seems like a lot. Also, what about just using 50wt synthetic oil?

    I was able to mount a 34"x9" air tank between the rails, just in front of the fuel tank. Using Kenworth metal brackets, used to space a tank away from the frame, I was able to mount it around the fuel/brake lines.     When this happened to me, I found corrosion on the battery negative post. Cleaned and problem went away.

    I haven't bought anything yet. I just looked on Rock Auto, and the regulators are $55. 00 with the motor. That is a Dorman product, but I seem to remember paying a kings ransom when the left ones broke. Is this a common problem. I am not of the type to go and look thru a wrecking yard for these...
