What are the issues with buying a Canadian truck in the US?

My 2013 longhorn ram 2500 was originally sold in Quebec Canada. A few things I’ve noticed is... The Uconnect system doesn’t have all the app features that the USA version does All body panels, wheels and parts have a unique serial number etched into them The conversion to get you mpg, mph, etc...

    Sway Bar options

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm not an off roader, so axle articulation would be a big deal. I use it to tow and the ride quality isn't anything to brag about so being a bit more harsh by adding the sway bar wouldn't bother me a bit.

    Sway Bar options

My truck has the factory sway bar in front but they didn't come on the rear. I believe the reason you have them on your truck is because of your coil rear springs, mine is the last yr of leafs for the ram 3/4tons. I don't have any major sway but would wonder why they don't have them installed...

    BD Throttle Sensitivity Booster

A vehicle manufacturer will always look for a way to get out of warranty work, and consumers adding accessories/parts to their truck will be on the short end of the stick. Stryker claims its undetectable but I don't know. I would take the unit off the truck if you need warranty work done. Check...

    BD Throttle Sensitivity Booster

I installed the tsb and ts Stryker unit at the same time. I have the tsb set at 50% sensitivity. World of difference the way the truck responds, gets up and runs. As far as shift pattern/flare changes, I haven't noticed a difference over the way it was before I added the units. I can't tell you...

    Sway Bar options

Hi Gang, I have a 2013 ram 2500 that I'm looking for opinions on a sway bar. I had a 2001 ram 2500 that had it equipped from the factory. Would the newer generations rams benefit from adding one? My normal towing is a 22' enclosed car trailer with a 10000lb capacity. This Cummins is a...

    Longhorn gauge question

Aertech couldn't help due to contract regulations. *All Chrysler manufactured vehicles must go through a Chrysler dealer so I'll check with a dealer next.

    Longhorn gauge question

Thanks Jim, that makes sense. *I will check around locally to see what I can find or drop by the dealership. *I've looked online to try to find just a tach or speedo inlay but came up without luck. *I can find plenty of complete gauge panels but won't spend 6-800.00 for a complete assembly when...

    Longhorn gauge question

Hi all, first post here but I've been following since I purchased a 2013 ram 2500 longhorn this past august. The truck came came from Quebec, so there are a few options on the 8.4 I'm missing out on but my main concern is the tach and speedometer. My question is, can a guy purchase the...
