I did the same thing on my 98, there is a spring on the side of the trans that pulls on a lever and if you put that spring on pulling I think to the rear instead of the front (or front instead of rear... one of those two) it creates to much pressure under load. I actually cracked my trans...

Our trucks have a split evaporator and you are low on charge and only saturating one evap, my truck does the same thing when I get low on charge.

I would never add any performance mod to my truck without having gauges first, after all are you willing to chance the motor in your truck if something goes wrong?
