I read your posts in the 2nd gen forum talking with Devildog about twins. Sounds like you have tried a few things. I was wondering if you might have some insight for me. I have a 99 24V, stock VP44. I run an ATS 3 piece manifold, II phat shaft 62, Spearco cooler, CFM intake, oringed and studded head with some exhaust port work, Helix 2 cam and Mach 4 injectors (150 HP). Last dyno (before the cam, head and intercooler I ran 494 and 1050 with stacked boxes, Edge EZ and TST Max. I am interested in twins now. The truck is on 38 in rubber with 4.30 gears, SBC ceramic dual disk clutch and an NV5600. I am looking into a manual valvebody auto trans so I can ditch the irritating clutch. Suncoast is working with me on it. No towing, some light drag racing, I do daily drive it and take it to the beach for surf fishing so heavy engine loads for an 45 minutes straight are common. 8000 lb trucks sink in the sand ya know? I am looking toward that 600 HP mark. Any thoughts?
