Towing a12000lb trailer in heavy stop and go slow traffic. Trans would not shift past 4th gear. If you came to a stop it shifted to1 and then straight to 4th. Any ideas?? Had 139,000 on truck

the truck belongs to a buddyof mine it is at a dealer has been for a couple weeks dont think they know for sure thought it was a sensor put in and drove done good for a few minutes then it quit pulling again they are leaning toward a pump but not for sure and the pump is on national backorder...

going up mt. rushmore pulling 15000lb trailer last summer shifted hard no codes made it back to ky trouble free no prob untill couple weeks ago it just quit would not move no codes

Aisin trans quit pulling at 50 thousand miles any ideas?

thanks guys pulled front cover it had the updated front cover i guess because it did not look my 96 it had a step where the kdp is at unlike my 96 but the radiator had a cracked tank replaced it and seal on vacuum pump and also yhe power steering pump it was leaking also
