Has anyone used the Blue Chip product to repair an APPS? I ordered one and just wonder if there is anything that I should know that is not in Chip's instructions that may be of help. I am trying to decide whether to install the rehastat myself or let someone else do it.
Thanks
yep mcoleman,
I changed fluid and filter and it stopped for a couple k miles then started again. If it is what you say do you think it can cause the trany to just flat quit?

I have an 02. The slipping is a vibration that I get and yes it is normally on hills or pulling. However it is mostly when the truck is cold. Once it warms up it does not seem to be a bad. I have a temp gauge so I keep an eye on that. The only thing I have done is put in the AFE air...
Robert, I understand about planning. Just have not had time to address the problem. Hope to make the trip without trouble. I am pulling about 4ton not a big load. I have 50K on the truck. The transmission slips from time to time and I have changed fluid and filter in the last 2K This is the second...
Were are the good transmission shops from Kansas City east to Nashvile and on north from there? I am leaving on a business trip next week and my auto trany is slipping some. Want to know my options before I set out in case of trouble.
I have a Tekonsha Envoy brake controler in my '02. Never had any trouble since I put it on last fall. Today I hooked up and when I step on the brake I get a buzz in my radio. Any clue as to why? I checked to make sure the plug was in good.
Thanks,

You guys are all talking about our trucks getting poorer mileage in the winter time. I wonder why. I always thought an engine ran better with cool air. Someone posted something about maybe it is the winter blend of fuel?? Any answers???

OK here it comes. ----------The problem I have with my EZ has been resolved. Power Edge says I should be able to tell the difference and if not they will replace the box. They are sending me anothe one. I will let you know if there is an improvement in the performance. The thing is...
I put an Edge EZ on my 02 two weeks ago. Can't tell any difference. I pulled an 8000# trailer 1200 miles and did not see any difference over stock. Now what. do I need injectors? However I must say that stock is not bad. I like the fact that I can pass someone doing 70mph and gain speed going...
On a recent trip in my new 02 we did several hours of night driving. I noticed the rheostat dial for the intrument lights and the area around it got almost too hot to touch. I know that a resistor will creat heat but this almost seems a bit much. Anyone else have this problem?

cold weather
Cold weather seems to do that to all of us. Did not know it did it to trucks too.
I guess I never paid any attention to it the last cold spell we had.

Thanks so far guys. I did forget to mention that I do pull a trailer. It is not heavy problably under 8K. I feel I need the Trans Temp.
Dave
I have a stock 02 2500 4X4. I am thinking of adding the new X-monitor with fuel pres. I have an auto trans so need temp for that. I am not planning on doing much right now as far as Bombing. May add an EZ. What is more important for me at this stage, EGT or Boost?
