You can convert 18ft lbs to inch lbs as you have calculated, 216 inch lbs. It will be accurate. Actually, many current manuals give not only the torque in ft lbs, but also in inch lbs. as well as the metric equivalent. Doug

Ray1933, you may want to take a look at the pictures posted earlier in this thread by DonCurley if you have not. It could save you a special trip into the dealership if you have the "old" steering linkage. Doug
