I currently have a SKYFi2 frequency modulator playing through my stock single cassette with mode button radio on my 2004 Dodge Ram. I want to hardwire an adapter to play through the cassette and eliminate the frequency modulation. Can this be done with this radio? If so, what do I need? Thanks!
Tech pulled sample of fuel and was it dirty(filthy)! After listening to all the worst case scenarios, we agreed for him to pull, drain and flush the tank. He will purge the fuel lines and put in a new fuel filter. He will also pull #1 injector and look for rust, etc. I'm hoping that because of...
Filled up with fuel and drove 200 miles, engine begins to idle rough and on the way to dealer begins to run rough. Dealer only able to change fuel filter(diesel tech off). Engine begins to idle better, blows some black smoke and runs normally. Fill up again with fuel, pick up new 5th wheel and...
Dave,
Looking forward to your reply! I also bet that it's the fin temp sensor. Does anyone have the TSB? Mine is a 2004, but built in the fall of 03(might be some overlap).
Just found out that the tech didn't check the lines with gages, but did the thermometer in the register check(what special training does that take?) and found 39 degrees on a 68 degree morning. I didn't say that the unit didn't work-just that it occasionally freezes up(which implies low...
I've noticed on 3 or more occasions that the air flow from the registers becomes greatly reduced(cab warms up); and, upon stopping and looking under the hood, that the air canister and refrigerant lines were iced up. Took it in under warranty and got my usual "nothing wrong answer" and that it...
Anyone using a jotto desk or similar on a 04 or later? All the search shows are examples for 01 and earlier. I heard that Figgy was working on a mount for these models but have seen no postings. Any new ideas for these later models? Thanks!
I have the 11. 50 axle on my 2500 and keep a 1" space by using the 1/2" spacer supplied by Timbren(they also supply a 1" spacer). Use a 15mm wrench and install should be about 45 minutes. They work great!
Happens to me before and after rebuilt 48RE-just the nature of the beast, thinks me! Can use tow haul to control shift into OD-does not happen when loaded. Enjoy!
Thanks for the replies-I've ordered my filter this morning. Anything to help keep Pollen and Peanut dust outside of the cab! My LA is almost as bad as California's LA.
Dallass,
Not from Foley, just owned property there(past tense). I also owned a condo on the 1st floor in Orange Beach-recently stood on slab and viewed the Gulf between the studs. I sold before the hurricane and finally began to sleep at night. Love that Beach area-they keep rebuilding it every...
I just assumed it went under the cowling, but perhaps the kit is to hold it on the top of the cowling-sounds better! I wasn't sure if you could go a year between changes, but would save money on filters.
Don't know what is in windshield washer fluid but it sure does stink up the cab when...
Anyone installed and using the cab air filter available from Geno's? It installs under the outside cowling below the windshield. Kind of a pain to remove cowling, but might help to remove pollen and other irritants. How often would you have to replace it to be effective? Thanks!
