My 96 lost power also and found that the wastegate acuator was broken and the wastegate was staying open a little. Noticed that the truck did not respond well and smoked while accelerating and also EGTs went up 400 degrees more on hills... Check it :)
Ok guys, I understand that buying a performance turbo is the best thing to do. :) The price is what holds me back though. By keeping the new 16 CM housing on and putting injectors and a number 4 plate,,,, is it going to help out with this problem? Just looking for some more ideas. Thanks
