Thanks too all that replied to this post. I did take Michael's advice and added a section of wire, soldered all joints and used adhesive lined shrink tubing. The gauge works great and the install was made easier with a little extra wire too play around with. Thanks Don

The probe has a short wire about 2" in length that has a small 4 pronged square plastic plug on it. The lead wire from the circuit box has the same, it is not one continuos set of wires from the probe to the box.

The box has screw terminals, not sure about the probe, it has a rubber boot covering it
