    EGR Exhaust Band Clamps - EGR Valve/Cooler Cleaning Re-Install Torque Specs

    Genos supplies two of those silver tapered fiber gaskets for each end of the crossover tube for my '08 6.7. One works for the EGR end of it but I had to order the right flat metal one from the local Chrysler dealer for the other end. It leaked immediately with the Geno's supplied gasket.

    EGR valve & cooler cleaning question

    I'm fooling with the EGR valve and find I can't disassemble the valve spring retainer as the Geno's article and photo shows. I guess I don't understand what the "keepers" the article refers to actually are. That sound like a snap ring of sorts but there's nothing like that here. Any help?
