opps, ultralight II. but should work the same way. i know my diprocl gauges came with a little reo-stat inline that i took out as well, and just wired to the dimmer.
i dont "blip" it per say, just gun it then let off and coast, like if i was passing some on a street. i dont just go up and down the road nailing it and letting of the go pedal. checked the end play. dead on. no movement. so i guess im just hearing things. :-)
ya ill check the play again. the truck has had the mods for 2 years now, and i have never heard this noise before. sounds like a blow off valve is behind the dash. thanks for the info.
so if i blip the throttle whilst going down the road and let off, i get this, air box ish noise, or maybe a turbo spin down noise that i have never heard before. i took off the air tube and checked the blades, they look fine and no play in the shaft that i can tell. it does not smoke or use oil...
both my rear bleeders broke. i just took the calipers to the local machine shop guys and had them get it out and got some new ones in. 20 bucks later, i bleed the brakes and was done. i hate bleeder screws. the only reason i had new ones (4) was because of that bad luck!
