p0243 issues tha won't end
I copy that. So the fan clutch can cause that damn p0243 code to show up? And the dealership wants to replace the turbo, real nice outfit.- dyager

Man I thought it was the problem for a minute, but I'm not blowing any fuses. Can the cooling fan malfunctioning have something to do with it? The truck never hits 200 degrees tho.- dyager

p0243 issues tha won't end
Started throwing p0243 and p0480 codes a few months ago. Dealership wanted $3500 to replace turbo and cooling fan. I wound up doing some research and replaced the waste gate solenoid with a waste gate plug. Less than a week later the p0243 code came back up on CEL. Because of the great state I...- dyager
