    thank you for your respnise - Its wired into the wiring harness & its a factory add on tach. The altenator charges to beat hell now that I got the external voltage regilator on it.

    I require assistant with my 1993 Dodge 1 ton 2 wheel drive 5 speed dually the charge system went, my tackand preheat quit working. I changed the crank position sensor and put external voltage regulator on altenator, But my pre-heat and tack still won't work. What to do?
