His school of thought is that you cannot exceed 50' of cargo space and the wedge is 48'. He thinks a flatbed is ok which doesn't really make sense to me because I could fit more cargo on the flatbed than in the box bed.

I see many people hauling cars on a wedge trailer with a box bed. When talking to my trailer manufacturer he said this was illegal because the box bed is considered cargo space even with a gooseneck. When I spoke with a Highway patrol officer he said he thought it was legal. Does anyone on here...
