    i do have extended warranty but is through a third party company. they are pretty good so, yeah i might ask about that. thanks for the help!

    is the one that came with the truck. which is why I am lost as to why, when I shift, I hear the electronic chirp noise.

    I have a 2011 3500 bone stock and I keep hearing this chirp sound (kinda like some type of electronic chirp) coming from under or near the trailer brake controller when I am shifting into 4th and 5th gear and also when I am downshifting. Is this normal? any inputs as to what may be causing this...
