I have taken the track bar bushing on the axle end out and replaced it with a solid steel bushing that i had machined locally. The truck has almost 300,000 on it with 35 bfg's and i am still on the original ball joints. I haven't had death wobble since i put in the steel bushing.

I put in a switch that turns the lift pump on and off. You turn off the pump to start the truck then turn the pump on. I also saw where people put in relays to do the same thing but the switch was easy

I have 260,000 on a 99 and have original balljoints, hub bearings etc. Basically the front end has never been touched except for the trac bar. The original lasted 136,000 then it went bad. I went thru 3 new napa trac bars in 18,000 miles till i finally said enough is enough. I put a lukes link...

all the lights come on with the exception of the wait to start light. when the wait to start light comes on the lift pump turns on for maybe 1/2 of a second then if i hit the key after this sometimes the truck starts instantly and sometimes it spins for 5 seconds or so then starts.

thanks i didn't know it was called that. i was allready in there changing relays around to make sure that wasn't the problem. what tells the lift pump when to run?

I have a 99 with 235,000 on the original vp-44. When i turn the key to start the truck the lift pump doesn't cycle on. If you leave key on without cranking it after 5 to 15 seconds the lift pump cycles and the wait to start light comes on. I changed the ecm thinking that it was the problem but...

it is sending the response to the address given by the person responding but both times it said email address not recognized by my email provider. it is not going to the tdr address. thanks

I have my 2002 dually on the classifieds and have gotten 2 responses. I have tried to email both of them back annd it says address not recognized. I could see this happening on craigslist but not here. Am i doing something wrong??

99 24 valve with 250,000 on original vp 44. all of a sudden got a starting problem. If i hit the key and fuel pressure guage doesn't go to 15 psi or so truck won't start. If i turn key off and try to restart as long as fp guage moves truck will start. Is this a key switch,relay or other problem...
