    Fuel Adjustment

    I've adjusted my star nut 3/4 cw in and my smoke two turns cw but am noticing a real lag in power in the first part of third gear. It pulls fairly hard in 1st and 2nd put really falls off when it shifts to third and finally picks back up toward the shift to OD. It's not real noticable except...

    Exhaust Housing install

    Heat and Bees Wax I finally got the things loose. Used a propane torch and melted some bees wax into the threads, seemed to work really well. The other chore was getting the housing to come loose from the turbine, framing hammer on the old housing took care of that. I made the mistake of...

    Exhaust Housing install

    Anybody got any suggestions for removing the housing to manifold bolts? I've been soaking them for days with everything from PB blaster to this 9. 00 a bottle stuff. Heat? Little frustrated, more power is sitting in a box on the floor. ERIC:{

    Road taken So here's where I went: 16cm PDR housing (looking towards the future and more POWER). Also ordered a smokey mount, BHAF, and Isspro gauges. The future looks smokey. Thanks for all your input. Eric

    Does anybody know where I can find a detailed diagram of our fuel pump. I'd like to tune my pump a little and I know the star nut but am un-sure how to make the other adjustments. Thanks

    I'm right ready to make my first power up grade by changing the exhaust housing. Most people here seem to run the 16cm non-wastegated. And I read that as you step down in cm you can expect a 2-3lb boost gain. What are the draw backs for going down in size? Possible loss of top end power? If...

    No Overdrive

    Final outcome I've been out of the country for awhile so I apologize for taking so long to post the outcome. After 2 or 3 attempts to order the right part and a couple 2hour round trips to pick up the wrong parts we finally figured it out. If you read the original post, the first time this...

    No Overdrive

    It's not the speed sensor! I replaced the speed sensor on Monday, with no luck. Of course it's an electrical part so I can't return it, so I've got an extra one if anybody needs it. After doing that I checked the adaptor which is in between the sensor and the transfer case. Looking inside the...

    No Overdrive

    Let me start by saying the problem I'm having now is a recent reincarnation of one which was solved by the good folks on this board. The original problem was: While at highway speeds the trans shifted intermitently out of overdrive, and the speedo dropped to zero. This was fixed with a new...

    Funky Shifting

    Thanks for the quick responses. I called my local crysler dealer and he wasn't exactly sure if what he found was it but he said it had a number of 3920360 stamped on it for 87. 50$, does this sound right?
