It has no weep hole just the weep hole in the back. Looks like i got a bad pump from dodge. Great!. Has a OReilly special on it now with a Lifetime Waranty. LOL

The truck is a 2010 and the water pump was changed about 30k mikes ago. truck has 106k on it. the recall was for 13 and later i think. not sure if its the same kind of failure but it surely could have caused a fire.

My water pump bearing failed, melted and heated up the shaft enough to twist off the pulley. Didn't leak a drop of coolant before or after the failure or give any sign there was a problem. Did tear up the belt and bend the tensioner but that's it .Happen on 95 in GA traveling from NJ to FL with...
