Thanks HO! We are looking into a few differant scenarios at this time. Possibly either the gear pump or camshaft sensor are what I am hearing most from our mechanic friends from differant shops.

Yes it is a 06 5. 9 no jake brake. Even though we now feel the damper is not causing the noise we are still looking to solve where the noise is being generated. Again, I have a few diesel shops and mechanics working at trying to solve the issue.
