I would stick with the power loc as they are easy to rebuild. All the ones that I have seen the carrier bolts were loose. Replace with new bolts and lock tite them in.

I have heard also that ethanol is hard on o rings and therefore is not good for injected engines. I was'nt aware that turning off the on off also shut the fuel off. I did see the drain for the carb though. Thanks for the help.

yes the oil level is good as i have changed it and i am aware of the murphy switch. I did talk to a honda dealer today, i have checked everything except the spark arrestor screen. They said if its plugged up it would do that.

heat/ac not working im going to have to pick up a vaccume gauge when i go to town so i can check the above. all the lines look ok but it will be difficult to see minor cracks in tubing.
