    My passenger side would hang up and not roll up. I smacked the door panel with my hand a couple of times (more or less over the motor), and it started working and has not hung up again.

    If you find that the switch is not working, depress the ball in the end of the switch, squirt some contact cleaner into the switch body, then rotate the end of the switch several times.     As KATOOM said, work the ball around. My switch wasn't working, I replaced it with a NAPA ($65.00). I squirted contact cleaner into the old switch and worked the ball around. I now have a spare switch after the expensive replacement.

    Bouncy fuel pressure gauge

    Is your gauge a manual or electric? If it is electric, the sending unit can cause erratic pressure readings when they start to go bad. If the gauge needle is vibrating and you hear a buzzing noise, you might try a needle valve in the line.

    Geno's Garage also has one of those tools. Part #LC38210. I don't know if it is the same as or different than SnapOn.

    Greasing the hubs on a 2nd gen will work. You have to tear the brakes down to get to the ABS hole. A good website for the procedure is www.courtsara.com. I gave mine about 30 pumps.
