Its ready
OK guys, here's the deal. Evidently # 2 injector failed, causing the miss. They have it fixed now and I am going to pick it up tomorrow am. I will have to say that my dealer( Abernethy Dodge in Lincolnton, NC) and Morgan Dodge in Durham, NC were excellent to deal with in this whole...
Had my first tow with the new 600. Got about 150 miles into a 300 mile trip. with a 25' Grady White behind me when truck started missing badly. Nursed it into the closest Dodge dealer. It showed no errors but sounded like it was running on 5 cylinders. Needles to say, i was extremly...
I ordered my truck 12/30/2003 and it finally came in last week. During this period, the price went up almost 400. 00. I paid 100. 00 over invoice and the dealer stood by the original price. So, you are telling me that you found a dealer to sell you truck for 750 under invoice and he wants a 100...
Congrats
Did yours go by train to Winston Salem? Mine was also ordered 12/30 and finally has been loaded on the truck to go to dealer.
Enjoy the new ride.
Gary
Congrats, According to Insight, they unloaded mine off the train today, woo hoo!! So as long as my dealer can get it from the train yard, I will finally be in business. Ordered 12/30/03, so much for the 6-8 weeks.
Good luck
Gary
You guys are lucky
Ordered 12/30/2003. It now sits in Louisiana on a train bound for Winston Salem, NC. (Thats 12 weeks and 2 days for those who dont want to do the math) ETA is 4/7/2004
Congrats
Concratulations on getting your truck. They finally loaded mine on a rail car yesterday after 10 painful days of watching it sit at the plant. It is suppose to be here 4/5. Good luck with the new truck.
Gary
One week on the yard
Well, my truck has been sitting south of the border for one week now. Sure hope they have it parked inside(haha). Seems ridiculous that it just sits. Must be something to the rail car shortage.
Mine is still south of the border. Suppose to be loaded today. If it makes you feel any better, my last Ford was ordered the dasy after Thanksgiving and was delivered Mar 28. I guess they all have the problem. My salesman told me 6--8 weeks and its going to be double that. I guess thats about...
Mine is coming by train to Winston Salem, then by truck. I guess they wont let me pick it up off the train(due to prep I would think). Winsto is only an hopur from me.
Gary
First time poster, long time lurker. Just wanted to thanks for all of the info I have gained on this site. Great group! My new truck leaves the assembly plant today, hopefully wont be long now. Ordered 12/30/2003, so I have been waiting awhile. For all of those who think the engine is the only...
