Many common electrical problems in the '06 all would cause a remarkable coincidence. Of course it is possible but it makes you wonder if tech shorted something that lead to the failure. I also believe it could be a compnent failure and the dealer would simply start by replacing cluster.

Well I finally gave in and had my recall done. I started getting air bag light, turn signal indicators in dash have a mind all their own and whole dash has about a one-second delay (tach and gear indicator). Took it back to the dealer and they claim my instrument cluster is bad.

I recently swapped cabs on my 2006. Diesel cabs are different, at least 2006. The floors are where the difference is. The Tunnel and such are different.

Sag/Dan I believe I have resolved the issue. Appears to have been bad connection at C135 (I believe that is the number) behind lt frt wheel. Next step, reassemble and off to feed store as animals were down to the last day of feed! Thanks again Sag/Dan Kyle

I have tank loose (straps loosened lines disconnected was really going after plug but as yet have not been able to get plug undone. Decided to go the dash route currently trying to locate wiring diagram to ensure wiring is good to cluster. Don't understand pump though truck has been running good.
