2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission HOSE SUCKED SHUT!

In the auto parts stores I can only find barbed connectors up to 3/8". That transition between 1/2" to 3/8" (or officially 11/32") is the problem. I guess I will need to invent something.

2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission HOSE SUCKED SHUT!

I know this is an old thread... However, I need to replace the original booster to vac pump vac hose on my 95. The hose is no longer available at the dealer. The problem is the vac pump connection and the brake booster connection are 1/2 while the T connection (for aux vac) is 11/32. The...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Pressure Readings

Discovered I still have a very small air leak. I put the feed line into a jug of fuel and the fuel pressure moved right up. 20# idle and 28# at 2500 no load. Time to check each connection again.

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Pressure Readings

What fuel pressure is the norm? I have a stock 95 2500. There are no performance aftermarket parts on the truck and no adjustments in this area have been made. In the last two weeks I have replaced the entire fuel delivery system. From the tank to the engine, these items are new: Draw...

Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Problems, air leak, lift pump and dropping tank

So another week has gone by and I am getting real tired of taking down and putting back the starter, lift pump and fuel tank. After replacing all the rubber fuels, I still had a small air leak in the fuel. I finally replaced the draw straw and the original metal lines on Saturday. I think that...

Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Fuel Problems, air leak, lift pump and dropping tank

I've always had a small air leak in the fuel line since I bought the truck about a year ago. Since I have not pulled anything significant it was only a problem at WOT or climbing a major hill at freeway speeds. In addition, the fuel pressure gauge only read 20lbs at best at idle and would drop...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Bypass OEM Fuel Filter Assembly

Yeah, I agree about the pump prices. Didn't really want to go down that road. I understand that the lift pump on my 95 is pretty stout, so no need to replace it. My main reason for going down this road is to never have to do the acrobat dance again to replace the original filter. CKelley1...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Bypass OEM Fuel Filter Assembly

I've read several threads where people have disconnected or bypassed the fuel heater and/or the primary screen filter (for various reasons). Has anyone bypassed the entire assembly, including the OEM filter? I'm thinking about adding an inline filter assembly (like FASS, Air Dog, etc. ). If...

    Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Original Chrome Wheels

Anyone have a source for original wheels? Or better yet, anyone replace their original wheels and have been storing them ever since? I purchased a 95 Dodge 2500 TD Extended Cab a couple of months ago. The previous owner had a blow out that did considerable damage to the right rear due to...
