they are wired into the dimmer switch but when I dim the dash lights down to where the gauges are tolerable the dash lights are way dim. is there a way just to dim the gauges themselves easily?

I just installed a new set of auto meter c-2 gauges on the pillar and they are very bright at night, any fixes for this?

its the stock pump. Im already looking into a new fass or airdog and then some gauges before anything else is done. should I do away with the in tank screen and then put an inline filter block before the pump? seems to make sense to me, looking back on the service records I got with the truck...
