The problems I am having are related to either the FCA or the COV but I have a 6. 7 pump and do not know what is different and if the 2 parts are interchangeable between the pumps. I also wonder if there are advantages to just putting the whole pump on.
I am having some problems with my 2005 5. 9 CP3 pump and have a 6. 7 CP3 pump that I can get for free and wonder if it will work and what the difference between them is. Thx
Fuell pressure is great
Put a gauge on the IP inlet and found that I had 5 psi of fuel pressure while the stumble was occuring. I will check the FCA next, then the COV. Thanks to everyone for the help will let you know the results.
After leaving the truck to idle for 15 minutes or longer it will stumble upon take off. The rail pressure is dropping to around 1,000 psi then recovers and takes right off. It is only a short stumble for a few seconds then completely clears up. Within a few miles the problem completely goes...
