I straight piped my 05 but kept the cat and found the sound to be mellow at cruising/hi-way speeds. It seems to me that more people complain about drone when adding aftermarket mufflers. I had no drone with the straight pipe. cost me $80 to have a piece of pipe welded in at my local muffler...

just had mine installed today at town fair tire. they matched the price of treaddepot.com and they came with free lifetime rotation,road hazard warranty and a couple of other benefits. they make the truck look better and they seem to handle great.
