In case anyone's interested it sold for 6250. Figured I should cut my losses. I think it was a fair price you guys might be a little low because you are used to awesome west coast trucks but most of the trucks around here are complete rust buckets. Or maybe I just got lucky who knows. Miss it...
Yikes! Might be a keeper. Yes the front cab mounts are a little rusty and other typical places have rust but not nearly as bad as most of the trucks I see around here.
Bought this truck a few years ago and have loved it ever since but I'm joining the navy and can't keep it! I need to get rid of it before I leave but there's not a whole lot of interest in it at the price it's set at. I bought it for 5900 and am sure I'm 10 in it. Maybe I overpaid I don't know...
Here's some pics of my door panel. As you can see this has been cut up a little too. Not sure where you're saying to pry it if I stick a screwdriver in that hole it doesn't budge at all and feels like it'll break and what's more there's a plastic piece behind that hole to the right where the...
I feel pretty stumped on this one and it's probably pretty simple. The inside door handle I can't figure out how to put on. You can't put it on first and slip the door panel on over top because the hole in the door panel won't fit through the front of the handle. So you put the panel on...
If it helps I bought my 89 W250 5speed for $5900. Truck wasn't in the greatest shape but I couldn't find a 89-90 (wanted the ram on the hood) manual 4x4 cummins anywhere so I just bought it. I still don't see a whole lot of manual first gen cummins around me near Philly. Bunch of real clean...
Oh ok I understand now thanks a lot for the info guys. I did some more research and found that they mostly stopped the external hubs after 89. Lucky me. So what do you guys think is a better setup the internal or external hubs? It would be cheaper I'm sure just to buy those selector locking hubs...
Might be a stupid question here but I can't figure out what this part would be called and I can't find a replacement for it. Turns out my front passenger side axle u-joint is seized up. I took out the axle shafts and could not move the u-joint at all trying to put some leverage on it. So when it...
Well that sucks I was hoping for some cool NOS goldmine. Guess I'll just have to get my elbow grease on. At least it'll save my bank account. Thanks for the info!
Yeah I figured as much. Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait till mopar or truck carlisle. Anybody ever been to them and know if they usually have good parts for first gens?
Hey Robert, I've read through this thread a bunch of times and I'm sure you've mentioned it but where do you get all these OEM parts like all the weatherstripping and whatnot just stupid small stuff like that I'm looking for and one of the website I've found is moparpartsoverstock.com but the...
