The mechanic had to get permission to order the new style sensor. The part was on back order which raised a flag that this might be an issue. The mechanic also stated he put the new sensor in a couple other trucks and it resolved the issue.
I have a 2011 Ram CTD I have had the check engine light come on several times. They have cleaned soot out of the 02 sensor twice in the last 5 weeks.
They are ordering a new type of sensor to see if they can fix the problem. Is this a common issue with the 2011?
