Sending mine in for a 3rd time, i did the same and told them to send me a different ECM. Sure hope its that easy! Was your truck missing at idle with the bad ecms?

Checked alternator wires, separated them, took them off cleaned the connections. Got another ecm from ACE and it still does the exact same thing. Any other ideas? Im going to take it back to the shop tomorrow.

Thanks i will check the alt wires now! My truck is an 01 and doesnt have the crank sensor. Kinda wish it did since that would prob be the problem haha

Took it in to a local diesel mechanic and he said its a bad ecm. His computer will not even talk to the ecm and said he has had this problem before and ecm fixed it.
